History

SH&P can trace its origins to the early 1900s when White Stevens & Langner were in partnership.

That firm became Stevens Langner Parry & Rollinson and was associated with Langner Parry Card & Langner, a USA firm with offices in New York, Washington and Chicago.

Around 1971 the association was broken. Stevens Hewlett & Perkins was formed in London and Langner Parry, now known as Ladas & Parry, in the USA.

The firm opened an office in Bristol in 1987. Today, the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent, trade mark and design applications are conducted from both offices. All administrative support services such as accounts, records and renewals are based in Bristol.
