Mike joined the firm in 2000 after three and a half years at another local firm. Prior to that Mike was with the UK Intellectual Property Office in a career spanning some 23 years. The last 11 years of his time with the UK Office was spent as a Hearing Officer and Mike offers clients a wealth of experience in the conduct of hearings at the Registry. Mike was responsible for setting up the UK Trade Marks Registry in Newport in 1988 (following its relocation from London). He now handles prosecution and enforcement of trade marks for clients both in the UK and overseas.
