Andrew is based in the Bristol office where he specialises in patent law as it relates to biochemical and biotechnological inventions. He joined the profession in 1996 after ten years as a research scientist in public and private laboratories in the field of plant biotechnology. Before joining the firm in 2002, Andrew worked in the patent department of a French-owned plant biotechnology company. Since joining the firm, Andrew has developed particular experience in patents relating to medical inventions in the fields of cell and molecular biology.
