Robert is based in the London office where he specialises in patent and trade mark law. He joined the firm in 1982 and handles patents for inventions in the fields of biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals and materials science. He has developed expertise, in particular, in patents concerning textile treatments and drug delivery systems, and in advising on the recordal of intellectual property assignments and related agreements both in the UK and abroad. Robert also handles all aspects of trade mark rights through registration and at common law both in the UK and abroad. He has care of a number of established international portfolios of trade marks covering goods as diverse as pharmaceuticals and clothing. Robert is the firm’s PTMG representative.
