Who Can Apply?
This competition is open to:
- UK-registered companies or individuals.
- Startups and early stage companies or individuals who have been trading for less than 5 years.
- Companies or individuals with innovative products, services, or technologies that are either ready or expected to be ready for patent protection within the next 12 months.
How to Apply
To apply, complete the online application form, which should take approximately 10 minutes. You will need to provide details about your startup and innovation, as well as why your business deserves IP protection. Your application must be submitted before 30th April 2025 for consideration.
How the Winner is Selected
- SH&P will review all applications and shortlist 15 promising applicants.
- The shortlisted companies will be invited to a confidential remote pitch session with SH&P’s expert panel.
- The business that the judges consider to be the most innovative, inspiring and commercially promising will be selected as the winner!
