With a mix of gratitude and sadness, SH&P wish to announce the retirement of Robert Gaunt, who has left the firm after an incredible 43 years of service.
Robert joined the SH&P London Office in 1982 and subsequently dual qualified as a patent and trade mark attorney.
He has been a cornerstone of SH&P life over the last four decades and has contributed significantly to the fortunes of the firm during that time.
Some of his greatest qualities have been his ability to connect warmly with clients through his genuine kindness and gentlemanly manner, which has enabled him to build some enduring and much-valued client relationships. It is no understatement to say that Robert has been a true asset to SH&P.
We will miss him but we wish him all the health and happiness as he now enjoys his well-earned retirement in what promises to be an exciting new chapter in his life.
On Friday 25th April, Robert was given a fitting send-off by staff at our Bristol office followed by an evening at Hort’s Townhouse on Broad Street, Bristol. Some of the pictures from the day and evening event are above and below.
