Each year, we select a regional charity to support through fundraising, awareness campaigns and employee engagement.

This year, we are delighted to announce that “Children’s Hospice South West” has been chosen as our nominated charity for 2025.

Children’s Hospice South West is a highly regarded charity that provides professional care for babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, offering both hospice care and professional family support services.

The charity’s mission is to ensure that every child receives personalised care in a safe and loving environment by prioritising the emotional and physical well-being of the child. At the same time, the charity offers invaluable and much-needed support to families.

Thanks to the generosity of donors these services are provided free of charge, ensuring that families do not have to experience the traumatic pain alone.

Some of the SH&P staff have personal connections to this charity and, therefore, as a collective group this charity is especially meaningful to us.

We were pleased to welcome Amanda Gallagher (Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser) recently to our office for an inspiring talk and to hear about her brilliant fundraising ideas.

Amanda also kindly invited us to a recent Business Club event at Wake the Tiger, where we had the opportunity to connect with other businesses, learn how they have been supporting this incredible charity and enjoy a complimentary exhibition visit.
