I seldom write such reviews, which in of itself speaks volumes. As a former General Counsel to two large firms I have used many trademark agents. In the end, I consolidated all the IP work with SH&P. They are extremely efficient, commercial and reliable. I need a firm to take the “headache” out of managing an intellectual property portfolio. They alert me only to to commercial matters and filter out the “management” issues. This allows me to use my time efficiently and effectively. After starting my own business as a firm that commercialises intellectual property and brings inventions to market, I chose to use SH&P for my own work. I need strong commercial advice at a sensible price. This is what you get from SH&P. In particular, working with Peter Cornford is a pleasure. He is virtually always available when you call (never an answer machine) and if he is not available, someone else from the team is able to step in. I have great confidence in the strength and management of my IP portfolio while partnered with SH&P. Great people to deal with and great people to know.
