Richard Turner has been amBX's Patent Attorney for nearly 25 years, from even before we spun the business out of Philips Research. He helped us to draft and file our considerable body of IP during the early development of the concept in the Research Labs and then through the new business creation process. After spin out he was engaged by our new independent company (now being a free agent himself) to continue to manage the transfer and ongoing maintenance of over 30 patent families filed globally as well as trademarks and other IP. Over the intervening years the IP has matured and had some additions - the majority of the cases are now granted in multiple territories. Richard has also aided us along the way as we structured the licensing of the core IP and evolved the portfolio to suit our software product licensing business. Over all this time, and more recently also as part of SH&P along with his colleagues there, we have had excellent support, advice and value for money. The results in successful grants of the material across the world speak for themselves, and we have been helped to really understand how to use, maintain and develop our IP effectively.
