Act Now to Record Your UK Address for Service

As from 1st January 2024, it will be necessary to record a UK address for service where new contentious proceedings are launched against a UK comparable trade mark or re-registered design.

We advise strongly that trade mark owners act now to safeguard their rights by recording a UK address for service.

  • Trade Mark Paralegal

Having graduated with a Law degree from Birmingham City University, Pat joined SH&P at the beginning of 2022 as a records assistant and quickly made the transition to Paralegal. She will be undertaking the CITMA Paralegal course in September 2023 as part of her progression.

Pat supports our busy in-house attorney team on a wide range of matters and liaises with SH&P departments as well as external sources to ensure the smooth running of caseloads. Her daily tasks include the filing of new UK trade mark applications, preparing and instructing overseas trade mark applications, monitoring international and national applications on file and managing case files through to registration.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, shopping and more recently travelling, but her ultimate goal is to become a homeowner.
